Our client is a startup- built and nurtured by IT veterans. This startup focuses on upskilling the IT workforce with training programs in new technologies, programming languages, project management styles, and more. The client started with an in-person, offline training format but soon faced increased demand by customers who wanted online classes for their employees. Our clients customers wanted an online model that would allow self-paced learning to their employees. On understanding the significance of this online platform and the revenue opportunity it will open up,our client reached out to SMARTnCode to build this online platform.
The client wanted to build a comprehensive library of curated content, interactive learning experiences, and a vibrant community, all accessible on-the-go.
SMARTnCODE decided to dive deep into this project with a completely customized solution.
The development of the app for our client was a collaborative effort, with the client’s key stakeholders playing a crucial role. We also interviewed some of their existing customers.Through a series of workshops and in-depth discussions, our team and the client meticulously identified the core learning needs of IT professionals and the functionalities crucial for a successful mobile learning app.
Following a user-centered design approach, we created detailed user personas and journey maps, visualizing how potential users would interact with the app at various stages of their learning journey. This comprehensive understanding of user needs and expectations laid the foundation for crafting a robust and user-friendly app blueprint. The technical blueprint further delved into the technological architecture, and here's where our expertise in Angular, PHP, and MySQL shone through.
Our team at SMARTnCODE carefully designed the interaction between the app's frontend and backend components, ensuring seamless data flow, secure user authentication, and efficient content delivery. By prioritizing scalability and future growth, the blueprint ensured the app's infrastructure could accommodate a burgeoning user base and an expanding course library.

Our team started with building different modules that this platform would need. We came up with the following tech specifications.
Frontend: For the front end, we leveraged Angular 9, a robust JavaScript framework known for its single-page application (SPA) architecture and rich user interface capabilities. Angular 9 provided a robust foundation for building a dynamic and responsive mobile app that delivers a seamless user experience across various devices.
Backend: The backend infrastructure relied on PHP, a mature and widely adopted server-side scripting language. Our developers utilized PHP to manage user authentication, course content delivery, progress tracking, and data persistence within a secure MySQL database.
Database: MySQL, a popular open-source relational database management system, served as the backbone of this app. Its robust data storage capabilities ensured efficient storing, retrieval, and management of user data, course information, and learning progress.
Our solution has significantly improved skill development for our client's users. The extensive course library, interactive exercises, and personalized learning paths cater to diverse learning styles and goals, offering a convenient and accessible platform for professionals to acquire new skills and enhance their IT expertise.
Since its launch, our client's app has gained significant traction amongst their clients- IT professionals seeking to upskill and advance their careers. The app boasts a rapidly growing user base and a substantial number of completed courses.
